Fox River at the Geneva Dam in Geneva, Illinois. Dams along the Fox serve as excellent devices for flood control and the lakes they provide are used as recreational sites for all. This particular image was shot using a neutral density filter and a 4.5 second exposure with the aperture set at f 22. I used an 18 degree wide angle exposure as well.

I processed the raw image file using Photomatix Pro 5, filters from Topaz Labs including Detail 3 and DeJPEG 4 as well as some minor tweaking in Photoshop including sCurve adjustments, brightness, saturation and the camera raw filter to produce this hdr image.
I donate 25% of the profits from the sale of this image to PROJECT ZERO: The Project to End Prostate Cancer in order to help develop better detection, prevention and a cure for this killer of males around the world.
