The Sonoran Desert area southwest of Tucson and near the Mexican border is vital habitat for the only population of Jaguars living within the United States. (Wickipedia) I shot this image in the Superstition Wilderness to the northeast of Apache Junction, Arizona. The Sonoran Desert is a playground for photographers; it seems that arond every corner there is one more opportunity to make a unique image.
