Artist's Description

This 'rock face' was shot along the road to Canyonlands National Park. If you look closely you'll find eyes, a set of noses and a crooked mouth. It is as if an artist sculpting in the Cubist tradition carved this 'rock face' into this hill. The American wilderness never ceases to amaze me.

I processed the raw image file using Perfect Effects 9 to add the border and some minor tweaking in Photoshop including sCurve adjustments, brightness, saturation and the camera raw filter to produce this image.
