Near the end of an exhausting day in Rocky Mountain National Park we stopped at Moraine Park along Bear Lake Road. From our parking spot I saw this view of Long’s Peak behind two layers of mountains. The storm clouds were dropping rain at lower elevations with snow at the higher elevations. Snow in June is always a unique experience found only in the Southern Hemisphere or in high elevations in the Northern Hemisphere. I photographed at this spot with a sturdy tripod in order to minimize camera shake.
