From Four Peaks at the left margin to Superstition Mountain, storm clouds threaten the desert with some much needed rain. The images for this panorama were shot in the late afternoon, near sunset in the Lost Dutchman State Park, Apache Junction Arizona. The light was difused with the cloud cover acting like a large softbox. This is the kind of day that makes me appreciate the Sonoran Desert all that much more. If there was a Garden of Eden the Sonran Desert was it.
