I shot this image along US 93 south of Wikiup on the way to Wickenberg Arizona. I couldn�t resist the rock pile and the half-moon rising. ALong this part of the road, saguaro cactus and Joshua trees may be seem together as the desert transitions between the Sonoran to the south and the Mohave to the north. Here both endemic desert plants are seen together with the juvenial Joshua tree in the mid foreground and the saguaro squarely to the right of the rock formation.
