Fabyan Lighthouse on the Fox River, Geneva, Illinois.This lighthouse was built by Colonel George and Nelle Fabyan as part of an estate called "Riverbank." The light has never served as an official aid to navigation. Col. Fabyan built the lighthouse in spite of the fact that it would never gain official status. Some even say he built it as a joke. This image was made the summer before the lighthouse was removed by Kane County to be rebuilt and replaced as an iconic struct...
