I photographed Courthouse Butte and Bell Rock from a high point on a trail in the late afternoon in February 2015. Both of these buttes are landmarks around Sedona, Arizona but are rarely photographed together. From my vantage point the two simply demanded that they be photographed together. While this image looks great in color, here I experiment with a black and white version.
