The Lake Mead National Recreation Area covers a large area of notrhwest Arizona. I photographed this image downstream of Hoover Dam from the first pulloff of US 93 where Navajo people set up craft blankets. The Colorado River forms an S as it flows down to the coast of California and on to the Sea of Cortez.
