Description
Waterton Lakes National Park in Alberta, Canada is connected to Glacier National Park in the States to as an International Peace Park. This image was photographed at Cameron Lake, one of the many lakes making up this extraordianry place. A lake carved by glacial activity during the last Ice Age and fed by snow melt, Cameron Lake is at the end of a most beautiful drive through the Canadian wilderness from the town of Waterton Lakes.
As I was walking around the lake I found these canoes and a single row boat waiting for someone to rent them to then paddle on the lake for more exploration of the shoreline. The yellows, reds and blues are striking as they bob up and down in the otherwise still waters of this lake.
