Artist's Description

This ancient bristlecone pine tree, found in the Patriarch Grove in the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest, a segment of the Inyo National Forest, is relatively young, perhaps only 1500 years old judging only by the size of its trunk and its full foliage.
