The Apache Trail in the Superstition Wilderness has some of Arizona's finest landscape examples in the Sonoran Desert. This image, shot with a Canon 60D with a Canon 18-55 IS lens, is but one of those stunning views. Not far from the town of Tortilla Flats, going east on AZ 88, a pullout and a few steps take one to this colorful view of the wilderness one traverses. The desert colors, the abundance of plant life, and the clear sky provide a backdrop for seeing the desert in new ways.
