Bell Rock is a popular tourist attraction just north of the Village of Oak Creek, Arizona, south of Sedona in Yavapai County. With an elevation at its summit of 4,919 feet (1,499 m), it is just west of Courthouse Butte.

Geologically, Bell Rock is a butte, composed of horizontally bedded sedimentary rock of the Permian Supai Formation. (Wikipedia)

Of course it is Sedona and Bell Rock is reputed to have strong Vortex energy all around it; a vortex being described as an invisible swirling field eminating from the earth holding spiritual value for those who believe in the Easter Bunny, Santa, and trolls under the bridge.

This image was made in the late afternoon with the sun to the west looking at the south face of this magnificent formation. The high cirrus clouds added a mystical vortexy touch to the image; in the end, however, they are just cirrus clouds.
